Durant aquesta conversa, Roger Malina reflexiona sobre la relació entre art, ciència i tecnologia, considerant-les no com a disciplines independents sinó connectades i que comparteixen els mateixos mitjans. Explica la importància de les xarxes internacionals en la forta posició política de Leonardo, però considera que sempre han de ser xarxes d’experts. També comenta la relació molt més habitual en el camp científic amb les xarxes internacionals i apunta la diferència amb les xarxes d’art que normalment es creen de forma més local.
