The Internet is generating new forms of interpersonal communication, in which a user’s identity plays a definitive role. Furthermore, the use made of this medium by artists has led to the development of concepts and processes through which the subject can be manifested and represented in this new context. From among these concepts, we have focused on that of utopia and the (historical) relationship together with which the ideas of identity and art have been established in terms of technology.
