Durante esta conversación, Roger Malina reflexiona sobre la relación entre arte, ciencia y tecnología, considerándolas no como disciplinas independientes sino conectadas y que comparten los mismos medios. Explica la importancia de las redes internacionales dentro de la fuerte posición política de Leonardo, pero considera que debe tratarse siempre de redes de expertos. También comenta la relación mucho más común dentro del campo científico con las redes internacionales y apunta la diferencia con respecto a las redes artísticas que normalmente se crean de forma más local.
