Professors Laura Borràs and Joan Campàs participated in the seminar Literature and virtuality. This seminar is one of the activities of the Literary Autumn program of Tarragona. They took part in a round-table that dealt with the boundaries of cyberliterature and Net-Art. More information.

Participation in the ALLC/ACH 2004 International Conference, Göteborg University (Sweden). Paper presented: 'Hermeneia: un banco de recursos multilingüe para el estudio de la literatura a través de las tecnologías digitales'.

International conference organized by Hermeneia: 'Under construction: Digital Literatures and Theoretical Approaches'. The conference gathered some of the most significant researchers in the digital literature area as well as an important number of people interested on this research field.

Professors Laura Borràs and Joan-Elies Adell were invited by the Universidad de Puebla (Mexico) to lecture two PhD seminars: "La experimentación en poesía: de los orígenes a la textualidad electrónica" and "Literatura electrónica: desafíos literarios en el paradigma digital".

Round table: "Birth of a new literary genre: cyberliterature", as part of the activities of La tardor literària, organized by the cultural area of Tarragona council. Professor Laura Borràs, director of Hermeneia research group, shared this round table with other significant people in the area, such as Margarida Aritzeta, who is also member of Hermeneia research group, and Lluís Calvo and Pedro Valdeolmillos, webmasters of Epímone.

Hermeneia and the research group Literaturas Españolas y Europeas: del Texto al Hipertexto (L.E.T.Hi) (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) organised their first workwhop on the new possibilities for literature teaching through information technologies.
