This specialist course consisting of two subjects is part of the second postgraduate course forming the Master's degree in Executive hospital management and deals with the management of non-healthcare hospital processes.
The first subject covers general hospital services and consists of three modules. The first looks at logistics and catering, the second deals with engineering, design and maintenance of facilities, while the third deals with the management of the information systems that support these services.
The second subject is geared to the study of financial management and management of professionals. It has 2 modules. The first one deals with management of professionals from the administration point of view. The second looks at financial management and hospital costs.
This specialisation programme has a strongly practical bias, providing students with detailed knowledge of all of the non-healthcare services that efficiently support hospital activity.
