Television is undergoing a process of profound change that will have a great impact on its future. On the one hand, the introduction of digital TV has led to a considerable increase in the number of channels, with the subsequent need for new professionals, and on the other, a new concept in television production, broadcasting and reception that has also created the need for new knowledge and skills.
The new society of screens is modifying the uses and consumption habits of television and audio-visual programmes. And this has to do with the new Internet TV channels and the consumption of asynchronous television and mobile screens.
This new scenario, therefore, entails important changes in the production and reception of television programmes. Changes affecting all genres and content, including entertainment.
The master's in Entertainment TV3-UOC has been designed to complete the training of audio-visual professionals in knowledge of the entertainment genre.
