Objectives

This master's has a strong professional focus. Its overall aim is to train television professionals with an excellent command of the medium and its context, and with highly specialised knowledge in some of the main tasks of television professionals, including the development of entertainment content, the creation of scripts, production and execution.

 

Specifically, these aims are:

• To further the specialisation in quality entertainment content in audio-visual media.

   

• To contribute, from a training angle, to the development of the Catalan audio-visual industry, particularly that of audio-visual entertainment, at a time of profound change calling for new skills and strategies.

   

• To help promote Barcelona and Catalonia as a knowledge-sharing hub in the European audio-visual sector.

   

• To help bridge the gap between higher education and the professional context.

   

• To discover and promote new talent.
