In modern organisations from any sector, whether public or private, appropriate and optimal use of information is key if they want to achieve their aims. The aim of this programme is to establish solid foundations of information management, its opportunities and its problems, which can be applied to a variety of contexts. It will also explain and demonstrate the practical application of the latter in the management of information projects and services. Throughout, it will consider the entire organisation as the potential scope of the benefits.



On completion of the specialist course in Planning and management of information services and projects, students will be able to:

 

  • Design and improve information services and systems.
  • Create and improve intranets/extranets.
  • Manage corporate information services.
