The various players involved in Spanish cooperation projects are becoming increasingly committed to International Development Aid, both in terms of development intervention and humanitarian action. This fact is increasing the dedication and professionalism of the teams involved. Simultaneously, the populations of other countries including both the EU and emerging or developing countries are seeing a greater need to get involved in the fight against vulnerability. From this perspective, training in this area is becoming increasingly important to improve the central goal: improving the quality of aid. The Spanish Plan for Cooperation refers to the need to dedicate more efforts to training in order to improve responsibility and the quality of services.
This Master's Degree, which began in 2004, is aimed at allowing students to actively participate in this context and to provide them with the opportunity of getting involved with cooperation with the aim or reducing vulnerability. The Idea of both the UOC and the SRC is to provide cooperation skills through this Master's Degree Course.
