International development cooperation has reached a critical dimension in the area of International Development Aid which is understood as being a long-term goal involving cooperation between the beneficiaries and key agents in order to sustainably improve conditions of wellbeing. We are talking about a complex scenario in which it is important to have inter-disciplinary knowledge concerning technical and management aspects as well as other knowledge directly concerning the context and the people involved. The aim of the Postgraduate course in international development cooperation is to provide this knowledge and to cover the foundations and methodologies needed to work in human development and personal abilities. To this end, it is structured into two specialisation courses. The first focuses on the technical aspects of the whole project management cycle. The second deals with other fundamental aspects such as participations and the key sectors, as well as association for development.
