The current economic scenario has once again demonstrated the great importance of bankruptcy law for businesses and the need for updated training for the tasks of consultancy and administration in bankruptcy proceedings.
The Bankruptcy Law (Law 19/2003 of 9 July) established a new legal framework that unifies the previous suspension of payments and bankruptcy laws in a single proceeding. Since the law's entry into force, there have been different legal changes, including the recent reform enacted by Law 38/2011, of 10 October, which stands out for its breadth and depth.
This specialisation course represents a tool for updating knowledge on bankruptcy regulations from a highly practical perspective, both for those who handle substantive aspects and those who handle procedural ones. The course especially addresses the tasks corresponding to bankruptcy administration in the proceedings, both from an economic-accounting perspective and a legal one.
