People management is a strategic factor when it comes to gaining a competitive edge.
The Master’s in Human resources management has been designed to offer students the necessary tools to manage people and teams with the right strategies, techniques and instruments to manage, train and motivate the members of organisations and to give them support.
One of the distinctive features of this Master’s in Human resources management is its updated and extended division of contents into four specialist courses: Organisation of human resources management and work; Management of labour relations and quality of working life; Management skills and team management, and Strategic management of human resources.
The learning itinerary is defined on the basis of the skills needed for students to develop their careers in human resources and has two basic aims. Firstly, the gradual acquisition of a wide range of skills extending beyond the work of traditional human resources departments. And secondly, a structuring of contents that takes into account the academic and skills background of the students. The content is applicable to all professional environments and is thus useful for all business areas. As a result, the programme could also be relevant to management figures who, regardless of their functional responsibilities, wish to learn, understand and apply the techniques and instruments associated with the management of people and teams.
The Master's in Human Resources Management applies the knowledge required to:
- Direct and motivate teams in order to meet the set aims.
- Resolve conflicts using negotiation techniques.
- Design and implement human resources policies in line with the business strategy.
- Optimise information technologies for human resources management.
- Obtain a financial, legal and social overview of the context of personnel management.
