This programme allows students to develop the skills to conduct quality system audits at the highest level by assessing the evidence found in order to contribute to continuous improvement and to conduct audits of third-party organisations in accordance with the legislation in force.
It gives students an insight into the principles and concepts of a company's organisation for quality purposes, as part of a move towards the implementation of a quality management system. All sections of ISO standard 9001:2000 are interpreted and applied, including the requirements that need to be met.
The course covers quality audit tools from the perspective of the management skills and abilities required to perform audits. The guidelines used for reference are those set by the ISO standard 19011:2002 for the performance of audits.
