The implementation of a plan for the global improvement of a company's management that will generate superior results requires the commitment of all those involved in the improvement tasks. Therefore, doing things right from the outset and working towards customer satisfaction must form part of day-to-day activity and be deeply rooted in the culture of the organisation.
This requires a system geared towards business excellence that will allow the production of specific plans for individual companies, aligning the organisation as a whole with the principles of total quality, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
All of the above ideas are perfectly applicable to any type of company or organisation and can be structured around the European excellence model of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
The course presents the criteria of the EFQM business excellence model, the assessment and grading systems and the RADAR concept. This allows the detection of strengths, areas for improvement and perspectives, and the evaluation of a case study. Once the individual assessment has been completed, the consensus process will be carried out harnessing the possibilities of the Virtual Campus.
For professionals and university graduates who wish to:
- Self-assess an organisation according to universal principles of management excellence, as set down in the EFQM excellence model.
- Be familiar with the concepts of the EFQM Excellence Model (latest version) of the European Foundation for Quality Management and the criteria on which it is based.
- Identify the factors to use in the self-assessment and apply the grading criteria of the European model to their organisation.
- Conduct the consensus process on the basis of the individual assessment.
