Miquel Brugué Rodríguez

Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona (UB) and Diploma in ‘EUS’ or Company-University-Society studies (UB). He has more than 10 years of business experience in the private company as well as in the university. In the private company, he has worked in fields such as banking, strategy definition and implementation consulting, marketing and sales, and management. When he was at university, he was a tutor for economic and business studies and a teacher associated to the graduate field of the UOC. He is currently the Academic Director of the Global Executive Education Area of the UOC.





Teaching staff

Josep Cortadellas i Gratacòs

Degree in Economic Sciences, University of Barcelona; Translation Diploma in French and German, Autonomous University of Barcelona; Degree in Law, Open University of Catalonia. He has developed his professional experience in private companies (Henkel Ibérica, among others) and as a business partner (Renta 4, Sociedad de Valores y Bolsa SA, Bisnet Hotels), and he has also had various positions in public bodies. In this regard, he worked as the Head of the Commercial Promotion Section of the Government of Catalonia, the Head of the Foreign Promotion Service in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Consumer Affairs, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial Promotion, Managing Director of the Consortium for Commercial Promotion of Catalonia (COPCA) and Managing Director of Tourism of the Government of Catalonia. His participation in the managing bodies of different organisations can also be noted, such as the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Organising Committee of the Assembly for the International Development Bank (IDB).



Pablo Bustelo

Doctor in Economics (PhD) (Extraordinary Award) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). Professor of Applied economy from this university. He was manager of the Economic Studies at Asian Complutense Institute (1993-97) and coordinator of Asia Studies at the International Studies of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1998-2000). He is manager of East Asia Economic Studies (GEEAO) of the UCM. He is specialist in East Asia economy and world development. He is author, co-author and coordinator of 12 books and author of moret han 70 articles.



Clara García Fernández Muro

Doctor in Economics Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and Professor in Applied Economics in this university. She is member of the East Asia Economics Studies Group of the UCM and was Visiting Professor in the University of California-Berkeley and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is specialist in new East Asia economies and in economic development policies. She is author, co-author and coordinator of several articles and books in this field.



Eduardo Morcillo

Mr. Morcillo is a Spanish national who has been working in China consultancy since 1998. Mr. Morcillo speaks Spanish, English and Mandarin. He has expertise in corporate transactions joint venture formation/buyouts, structure mergers & acquisition transactions, senior level negotiation support, valuation and company restructuring) and senior level advisory on strategic expansion in China. Graduated from Carlos III University in Madrid (Spain) with a Bachelors in Law, and then from the University of Newcastle (United Kingdom) with a Masters in International Finance. Mr. Morcillo has an Executive MBA from IESE Management School (Spain), and has received executive education at CEIBS Management School in Shanghai (China). He worked for Sinclair Roche & Temperley in the United Kingdom and Credit Suisse Asset Management in Spain before moving to China in 1998 to work for the Spanish Commercial Office as an Investment Analyst in Beijing. Mr. Morcillo then worked for InterChina in Beijing, Shanghai and Spain. He has served as the Chairman of the European Union Chamber of Commerce - Trade & Distribution Working Group (2001-2004) and the Vice-President and Secretary General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai Chapter (2002-2004). He is Associate Professor at Instituto de Empresa (IE Business School) and has also been Associate Professor of Asian Studies at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Mr. Morcillo is a frequent commentator in the media on China business issues and author of various journal articles and books.He joined InterChina in 2000, became a Partner in 2008, and concurrently holds the positions of Corporate Practice partner in charge and Spain Office Director. He is based out of InterChina’s Madrid Office.
