The purpose of the Doing Business in Europe course is to better understand the European business system, economy, society and policies.
Considered the last utopia, the European Union is applying European values to develop common institutions and policies, affecting a great range of matters and conforming the European socio-economic model.
498 million people live in the 27 European members, making it the biggest economy in the world.
The EU is an interesting case, in general, in terms of the progression of democracy and, in particular, for business.
Europe is complex due to its unique make-up. To develop your understanding of and skills in European matters in Doing Business in Europe we will blend academic and interpretative points of view with practical applications.
In the Doing Business in Europe course, over five months, we will interact with you on European subjects, from federalism to trade, from competition policies to regional aid, from training and social policies to foreign affairs and the environment. Your tutor will assist you throughout and support your progress on European subjects, answering your questions, and suggesting how to use the enormous European Union information resources.
The course is designed for professionals interested in gaining practical tools and specific knowledge for doing business in Europe.
