Objectives


The academic aim of this course is to give you all the elements you need to be able to understand the European integration process, to analyze European policies, and to find your way around the complexities of the EU.

 

As a course that caters for vocational and training interests, DBE will help you find out more about Europe, its organizations, people, business structures, economy, rules, opportunities and current debates. The course will help sharpen your perceptions of Europe, its contemporary developments, its economy, politics, and EU policies. DBE is a specialization course which opens doors for careers related to European matters. Enrolment is open to all who wish to know more about Europe and the EU.

 

This course provides:

  • The standards for European dynamics. 
  • The skills necessary for understanding the EU system. 
  • The abilities to discuss European policies. 
  • The elements to analyze the impact of EU developments. 
  • An analysis of the European economic environment. 
  • An understanding of the European business landscape. 
  • Strategies for entering the European market. 
  • A review of key political, social and cultural issues in Europe.

 

Through contemplation of European values and getting to know EU standards, we will achieve the goal of the DBE course: an in-depth understanding of Europe.
