Management and teaching staffMiquel Brugué Rodríguez
Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona (UB) and Diploma in ‘EUS’ or Company-University-Society studies (UB). He has more than 10 years of business experience in the private company as well as in the university. In the private company, he has worked in fields such as banking, strategy definition and implementation consulting, marketing and sales, and management. When he was at university, he was a tutor for economic and business studies and a teacher associated to the graduate field of the UOC. He is currently the Academic Director of the Global Executive Education Area of the UOC.

Teaching staff
Josep Cortadellas i Gratacòs
Degree in Economic Sciences, University of Barcelona; Translation Diploma in French and German, Autonomous University of Barcelona; Degree in Law, Open University of Catalonia. He has developed his professional experience in private companies (Henkel Ibérica, among others) and as a business partner (Renta 4, Sociedad de Valores y Bolsa SA, Bisnet Hotels), and he has also had various positions in public bodies. In this regard, he worked as the Head of the Commercial Promotion Section of the Government of Catalonia, the Head of the Foreign Promotion Service in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Consumer Affairs, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial Promotion, Managing Director of the Consortium for Commercial Promotion of Catalonia (COPCA) and Managing Director of Tourism of the Government of Catalonia. His participation in the managing bodies of different organisations can also be noted, such as the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Organising Committee of the Assembly for the International Development Bank (IDB).

Miquel Llimona i Balcells
Miquel LLIMONA has a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he specialises in commercial law and company law and in the sphere of action of International Law. He is a lawyer in Barcelona and a founding director of DS Abogados and Economistas (law firm). He is a legal consultant and secretary for various companies, some of which are Spanish affiliates of international groups. Former member of the Executive Committee of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF YOUNG LAWYERS, former vice-chairman of this association for Spain. Member of the international Lexwork network.

Joaquim Llimona i Balcells
Joaquim Llimona has a Law degree, a diploma in Higher European Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges and from the General Management Programme of IESE. Innumerable courses, seminars, community law and international policy conferences. Founding partner of DS Abogados y Economistas (Law firm), he works as a lawyer in European community law matters and as a consultant on the design and implementation of internationalisation processes for both public entities and private companies. He is an International Strategy Advisor for la Caixa savings bank and Chairman of the International Commission for employers of small and midsized companies in Catalonia. Between 1997 and 2004, he was the Director General and Secretary General of International Relations of the Government of Catalonia, and he was a member of Committee of the Regions of the European Union, among other responsibilities. He is a European Law professor of the University of Barcelona and he has given courses in numerous Spanish and foreign universities. He is the chairperson of the Catalan Council of the European Movement and sponsor of numerous foundations.

Gerard Navarro
Gerard Navarro has a Law degree from the University of Lleida and a comparative law diploma from the International Academy of comparative law, Univ. Robert Schumann, Strasbourg, France. Lawyer for DS Abogados y Economistas law firm, expert in international law affairs. He deals with matters related to investment protections, double tax agreements and community law.
