This course is aimed at social start-up entrepreneurs who wish to test their business model and others who are looking for growth formulas through the construction of organisations that are responsible, sustainable and scalable and can deliver goods and services that increase the quality of life of the most disadvantaged and care for the environment while resolving the challenges facing us in the 21st Century.
Students will learn about the various ways to geographically expand a social innovation and to measure its social impact in the evaluation of the progress of the initiative, students will also learn how to capture funds.
We will be looking in-depth at the new social investment global industry which is being led by social risk capital funds and how it can help a social enterprise to grow. We will analyse the various existing finance pathways.
Last, we will look at how to incorporate social responsibility best practices into the DNA of a company and learn about the new models of collaboration between social and traditional enterprises.
