This course is designed to establish the basic knowledge required for understanding the process of taking a social initiative that is innovative, sustainable, has a high social impact and which is self-sufficient.
The purpose of the course is to train people to lead social enterprises. They will be entrepreneurs and managers with a desire to question the established order, to improve living conditions for the most disadvantaged, people who are able to respect the differences between us and to value our similarities. Students will acquire a global perspective of social innovation and entrepreneurship, they will gain an understanding of the various models used, from inclusive businesses at the base of the pyramid in developing countries to intelligent globalisation initiatives for new citizenry participation in our countries, as well as eco-innovations that provide solutions to the environmental challenges faced by our planet.
The course will also provide knowledge about strategic alliances and leadership capabilities for the social entrepreneur.
