It is safe to say that technology is no longer the monopoly of a handful of experts. It has to do with discovering better ways of working, more innovative ways of communicating, and new ways of helping people to discover the information that is important to them. This gives us an idea of how technology is changing: it is now an essential and natural element in all our lives. With the Networking Academy syllabus, students will learn how to design, build and maintain the networks on which modern organisations are based. The syllabus will give participants practical experience in the network technologies that act as the driving force of modern companies.
This programme will enable participants to focus their careers on Internet communication and network infrastructures, equipping them with the networking skills and knowledge they need to enter a rewarding profession in high demand.
The programme features a web-based syllabus, Internet communities and frequent on-line activities and exams. This personal study component enables students to study and learn from home. Nonetheless, the course is also largely based on experience obtained from real practice, so students will need to attend regular classes to learn and practice with the Cisco laboratory team. The on-site practicals will use the Networking Academy teaching laboratory, fitted with the latest equipment that would be used in a professional environment. This gives students the opportunity to perfect their network troubleshooting skills and reinforce their capacity for critical thinking and logical discourse.
The Cisco Networking Academy postgraduate program provides the tools needed to:
- Design and maintain complex networks.
- Build networks to support public and private companies.
- Analyse and solve problems with network technology.
- Reinforce the capacity for thinking and logical discourse.
