Admission requirements
In order to gain access to the programme, it is necessary to hold an authenticated university degree.
If a candidate does not have one of these, an admissions committee will evaluate their knowledge and experience from their CV.
Prior knowledge
Students will need to show a willingness to work in multilingual contexts. Hence, they must have an excellent reading comprehension of Catalan or Spanish and a sufficient reading comprehension of English or French to allow them to read specialist texts.
The teaching languages of the postgraduate course are Catalan and Spanish. The classes are integrated and multilingual, i.e. students are not separated by language preference. The classes use automatic translation tools between these two languages for students with difficulties in one of them. For more details on how the multilingual classes work, see the additional information.
Degrees
Once the global evaluation process is passed, the UOC will grant participants presenting a university degree authenticated in Spain a postgraduate diploma in Management of linguistic and cultural diversity.
Those participants not holding a degree will be awarded a certificate in the Management of linguistic and cultural diversity (30 ECTS).
