KIOSC (Knowledge-Information-Open-Sharing-Cooperation) is a web space that offers open access to a wide range of training materials and teaching content on development cooperation.

This virtual tool lets users consult and download all the Creative Commons-licensed resources available on KIOSC quickly and easily with a single click and from anywhere in the world.

Charitable mission

KIOSC is a charitable project founded on a culture of sharing and bringing knowledge to everyone. Based on the institutional repository’s DSpace free software, the idea is to increase people’s social, human, economic and environmental skills in areas at risk due to poverty, conflict and marginalisation.

What it has

KIOSC has a great number of digital training resources, produced by both the UOC and other institutions, to help students acquire the knowledge and skills needed for development cooperation, without their having to enrol on a full course. There is a wide range of articles, working papers, teaching materials, etc., and training materials produced by the collaborating academic institutions.

Join us

Bodies, institutions and organisations who want to join our project by sharing their teaching materials should contact the KIOSC’s coordinators by calling +34933263682 or +34933263653, or by emailing cooperacio@uoc.edu.
