The UOC's French courses, from A1 to B2, take full advantage of the linguistic and cultural proximity of French for Catalan and Spanish speakers to help students progress quickly. Students can complete each of the A1, A2 and B1 levels in just one semester.

The multimedia materials for individual work include a wide range of resources in French (songs, films, newspaper or literary texts, comics and websites). Students receive personalized feedback from the instructors who supervise and guide their learning throughout the semester. Oral and written comprehension and expression skills are practised using the UOC's communication tools and in activities involving small groups or the whole class.

Guidance on enrolment

We recommend that you take the level test when deciding which course best suits your current level. If you have no prior knowledge and would like to enrol on a beginners' course, you may proceed directly to enrolment.

DELF examinations

The courses prepare students for the official international DELF (Diplme d’tudes en Langue Franaise) examinations. Students currently enrolled at the UOC registering for the B1 or B2-level DELF examinations receive specific training free of charge thanks to an agreement with the Alliance Franaise in Sabadell.
