Four members of the centre take part in practicum project
Albert Sangrà, Lourdes Guàrdia, Marcelo Maina and Nati Cabrera have taken part in the "Análisis de las propuestas de practicum de los planes de estudio de Maestro y de Profesorado de Secundaria: Hacia un modelo innovador de formación docente" [Analysis of Practicum Proposals in Primary and Secondary School Teacher Training Syllabuses: Towards an Innovative Model for Teacher Training] project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education and coordinated by Dr Mercedes González Sanmamed, from the University of A Coruña.
The project aims to identify the state of the art in practicums for the new infant, primary and secondary school teacher qualifications based on collecting and analysing the information available; describing and explaining how they are designed, developed and assessed at the different universities, and the theoretical framework.
Alongside the University of A Coruña and the UOC, the universities of Granada, Murcia, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, Valencia, Autónoma de Madrid and Autònoma de Barcelona, and the Axencia para a Calidade do Sistema Universitario de Galicia (Galician University System Quality Agency, ACSUG) have also taken part in the project.
