Applied research
What is it?

The UOC is an excellent source of data regarding teaching and learning processes based on the use of ICT. One of the objectives of this area is to enable the University's lecturers and researchers to get the most out of this, making use of these data, as is promoting the dissemination of good teaching practices through the usual channels.


To foster research into e-learning in the UOC itself, using data obtained in this context, to improve teaching practice.

How? By promoting the use of design-based research and action research methodologies.

  • Offer of a space for the implementation and execution of teaching practice in a controlled environment: the Experimentation Laboratory.
  • Access to data history of the Virtual Campus.
  • Support in identifying dissemination channels and the presentation of the results obtained.
