PSiNET (Psychology, Health & the Net) is a research group of the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute, Open University of Catalonia (UOC-IN3). Its main objective is the analysis of the psychological aspects associated with the use of ICT in relation to health and the quality of life of people.


The Cognitive Neuroscience and Information Technologies Research Program (CNIT) confines its focus of interest to the study of biological substrates underlying cognition, with a specific interest on the neural substrates of mental processes in humans.

eHealth Lab


The eHealthLab group researches into and analyses the processes, critical factors and strategies for integrating ICT into health systems, specifically identifying the transformations arising in the interactions between ICT and the organisation.

Latin American Telemedicine University Corporation Cluster

CICUT (Clster Iberoamericano de Colaboracin Universitaria en Telemedicina, the (Latin American Telemedicine University Corporation Cluster) is a UOC project for promoting and developing academic- and technical-cooperation, research and innovation programmes in telemedicine.

Ibero-American Network for Mobile Technologies in Health

The mission of the Red Iberoamericana de Tecnologas Mviles en Salud (Ibero-American Network for Mobile Technologies in Health, RITMOS) is to act as an international network for research, teaching, development and transfer of technology and knowledge focusing on the field of mobile technologies for health.

Telemedicine Lab

The UOC is developing a virtual platform which enables access, at an information systems level, to different telemedicine applications.
