With the D-Transform project
From 14 to 18 November, the members of the consortium of the European project Digital Transform (D-Transform) are organizing the 1st Leadership School in Europe (leadership-school.uoc.edu), aimed at presidents, vice presidents and senior managers of institutions of higher education to turn them into agents of change so that universities adapt to the needs of the digital age. Planell, President of the UOC, with Marta Aymerich, Vice President for Strategic Planning and Research, and the sessions will also see the participation of Pastora Martínez, Vice President for Globalization and Cooperation, and Carles Sigalés, Vice President for Teaching and Learning.
The subject areas to be discussed include understanding concepts on the millennial generation, digital visitors and digital natives; promoting digital libraries and study areas adapted to the digital environment; overcoming academic resistance to teaching in ICT; new online assessment methods; adapting the institutional quality assurance system of the national and European contexts; comparative assessment of the advances in digital learning; change management techniques derived from theory and good business practices; business models for MOOC courses; advantages and disadvantages of working with the private sector; lessons to learn from innovative providers and learning analysis, ie ensuring that it is useful for institutional needs.
