The icons are linked to web services that help individuals and communities manage information. These services, that are not linked to the UOC, allow users to classify, share or comment on the content they find on the internet.

A website specialising in science and technology news. It combines social bookmarking, blogs and syndication with non-hierarchical, democratic editorial control.

A search engine for internet blogs.

A website based on community participation where registered users send stories in that the site?s other users (whether registered or not) can vote on, thus promoting the most popular stories to the front page.

A portal to publicise news and blog posts. These items are sent in and voted on by the users themselves to get them on to the front page.
