RSS Subscription

What is RSS?

RSS is an acronym that has differing definitions, although the most commonly accepted is Really Simple Syndication. It is a format based in XML and has been particularly developed for areas with constantly changing news. The text produced in RSS contains the title of the piece of news and the link to the web page where the full article appears.

RSS is a simple way of receiving alerts when websites publish new material. It saves having to search websites in case there are any new news articles, as the RSS advises us automatically when there is any new information. Moreover, it allows us to group together all of the information sources that are of interest on a single computer screen.
