Solar Prizes 2007

The European Association for Renewable Energy (EUROSOLAR) awards the Solar Prizes 2007 for Spain. These prizes recognise organisations, governments or people around Europe who have made significant contributions to the use of solar and other renewable energies.
Among those to attend are the Director of the UOC's Campus for Peace and Solidarity, Eduard Vinyamata, and the Chair of EUROSOLAR in Spain, Josep Puig, who will speak about the award-winning initiatives in Europe in 2006. Likewise, the territorial director at Catalunya and Balears of Triodos Bank, Joan Antoni Melé, is to speak about Triodos Bank and renewable energies. The event is to be compered by the journalist Ester Sardans.
