EFQUEL sets up in the UOC's Madrid office to strengthen its activities in Spain and Latin America

The UOC's Madrid office is to host the opening of the European Foundation for Quality in e-Learning (EFQUEL) Office for Spain and Latin America on Thursday 19 April. The event will formally unveil EFQUEL?s setting up in the UOC?s offices in the Spanish capital and set out the activities and services that the foundation will offer Spanish-speaking countries, in terms of certification of quality in e-learning in particular.

UOC on Barcelona Digital board of trustees

The Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC) has become a member of the Barcelona Digital Centre Tecnològic?s Board of Trustees. The online university?s forming part of the management team for this advanced technological centre specialising in the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) was formalised at the meeting of the board of trustees held on 9 March. This alliance will help strengthen the links between both institutions, especially following the setting up of the UOC-BDigital Technology Transfer Centre, which will develop new technologies and methodologies in the fields of education and knowledge.
