R+I in e-learning

R+I projects

The e-learning conceptual framework

Work in e-learning: work in what?

The project emerges from the hypothesis that currently there is not a single concept about what e-learning is. The research means to reach a definition of the concept of e-learning which holds the consensus not only of the scientific community, but also the different practising communities.

The result of the project will consist of a report containing:

  • An approximation of the different definitions and focuses of ’e-learning departing from a rigorous analysis of the published research in recent years.

  • The definition of the scientific concept of e-learning, which deriving from the previous study and, through application of the Delphi technique, also incorporates the consensus of international experts.

  • The vision and perception of e-learning of the members of the eLearn Center, which will be obtained through the discussion of the results of the first analysis using the technique of focus groups.
