At the UOC, the student is the protagonist of an educational process that, thanks to the new technologies, is not subject to time or space limitations.
The student administers his/her own time, plans his/her pace of study and constructs his/her academic itinerary.

- Continuous evaluation guarantees the academic progress of the student and his/her getting the most out of the course.
- The Virtual Campus is the support and learning environment from where the student may access resources and interact with the university community.
- Multimedia teaching materials complement the specifics of each subject.
- The Virtual Library permits access to all information resources.
- Services for the university community include resources, activities and advantages to facilitate students' integration in the UOC.
- The support centres provide personalized attention, study resources and a space to meet with classmates.
