Campus for Peace and Solidarity
The Campus for Peace and Solidarity is an initiative with international vocation to coordinate, promote and support the efforts of the UOC in matters regarding cooperation.
Since the year 2000, and through scientific and technical knowledge and education using computer technologies and Internet, the Campus for Peace:
- contributes to peace processes;
- promotes human rights;
- provides humanitarian aid in emergency situations;
- works for the sustainability of the planet;
- facilitates literacy.
With the Campus for Peace, the UOC:
- participates in the introduction of the use of ICT in the sphere of cooperation;
- offers a virtual space to entities without profit motives;
- administers projects for hosting virtual offices and solidarity actions.
