At the service of academic progress and development of the course
The course plan is the instrument through which the faculty creates and develops the subject. In agreement with the European Area, it is a key element in the students' activities. At the UOC, this core element consists of a continuous assessment system, which involves the execution of a set of activities that are guided and assessed by the faculty during the semester.
This assessment system guarantees that the student gets the most from the course, achieves the objectives for each subject and obtains the competences for their particular qualification. Furthermore, the student is able to continuously monitor their learning process and evaluate their progress at anytime.
The course plan also allows the student to obtain information on the methodology, time distribution and criteria of each of the subject's assessments, which gives them a basic tool to orientate and guide their work throughout the semester.
