Josep Lladós, the UOC's Vice-Rector of Academic and Teaching Planning explains that based on everyone's contributions, the conference will facilitate the dissemination of experiences and good practices throughout the university system as a whole and, this way, may contribute to creating a knowledge network. A website work space has been created for debates and knowledge and experience exchanges.This conference is part of the intense work of adaptation to the European Space for Higher Education (ESHE) being undertaken by European universities. This adaptation involves revising the education model and teaching methodology, the rearrangement of the training offer and adaptation of this to a new economic, social and educational environment, and the incorporation of significant organisational changes. For Vice-Rector Lladós, this conference, in which diverse experiences will be presented and shared, will be a good opportunity for teachers to have a favourable influence on this process of innovation and ongoing improvement of teaching and will help us prepare the processes of assessment and future accreditation of our degrees. The conference is aimed at the university´s own lecturers, collaborating teachers, tutors and counsellors, as well as lecturers from other Catalan universities.
