The UOC and Mexican employers’ association sign collaboration agreement

The Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Mexican Employers’ Association, COPARMEX) and the UOC have signed a collaboration agreement in order to promote dissemination of knowledge and lifelong learning. The agreement was signed by the UOC’s President, Imma Tubella, and COPARMEX’s President, Ricardo González.
This agreement sees both institutions promote development of the professionals and employees
working at COMPARMEX’s associated companies in a range of teaching and training areas, as
well as increasing their competitiveness in the framework of the knowledge society.
As a result of this agreement, activities are to be started up in the field of e-learning
that are to contribute to driving professional development and lifelong learning through the use of
information and communication technologies.
COPARMEX is an employers’ association founded in 1929 to promote the common good. Its
mission is to generate more and better companies in Mexico so as to contribute to generating
increased quality of life, better jobs, improved education, etc.: in short, a more competitive
country.
