The UNESCO Chair in E-Learning organises a working session on Open Social Learning
[29/06/2009]
The UOC UNESCO Chair in E-Learning has organised a meeting of experts for Tuesday 30 June to debate the state of Open Social Learning in Spain. The session is to take place in the Barcelonès Support Centre’s Auditorium and is to be divided into two parts: the first in the morning, which is open to the public, but requires registration in advance, and the second in the afternoon behind closed doors.

During the morning session, Dolors Reig, a consultant specialising in introducing social tools in institutions and companies, Marc Alier, lecturer at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) and collaborator in the Moodle community, and Rubén Díaz, founding member of Zemos98, are to present their proposals for three lines of action.

In the afternoon, a total of fifteen academic experts and researchers, and representatives from the public administration and the world of business are to debate the prospects for Open Social Learning in Spain with the aim of establishing a debate and jointly creating a document reflecting on the subject in question.
