Investment for Innovation
June , 2008 / By Jose Medina
The aim of the conference that took place on Thursday June 19 as part of the meeting of representatives from the UOC and its associate companies was to contribute to innovation.

The IXI (Inversió per a la Innovació - Investment for Innovation) conference brought together the UOC associate companies who see creativity as value added to their activities in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), with the aim of promoting innovative projects led by the UOC’s studies, management and research teams.

Thus, the UOC, a strong believer in innovation and entrepreneurship, has taken another step in its efforts to spread knowledge and contribute to social wellbeing, opening up its emblematic projects to participation from the world of business.

Participation in the IXI conference is complemented by the benefits and collaboration offered by the associate company programme in terms of in-company e-learning, knowledge management and generation of virtual communities.

The associates can sign up to the proposals from IXI 08, the projects that the UOC is working on this year in the field of cooperation, communication and e-learning, based on information and communication technologies and offering new opportunities for development and innovation.
