Last Thursday 30th March, Mayo Fuster Morell, director of the Dimmons research group, participated on the event “Bridging Civic Innovation and Politics. Bottom-Up approach to policy-making: working with grassroots, creative communities and citizens”, organized by Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy Group in the European Parliament.

Fuster explained about the project Procomuns: Commons Collaborative Economies: Policies, Technologies and City for the People, as an example of an innovative project engaged in civic participation. Procomuns, in which the Dimmons research group is one of the partners, is a project which aims to highlight the relevance of the commons-oriented approach of peer production and collaborative economy, while proposing public policies and providing technical guidelines to build software platforms for collaborative communities.
