Academic requirements

To be able to study the University Master's Degree Programme, one of the following must apply to you:

  • You have an official university qualification: degree, engineering studies, architecture studies, technical engineering qualification, technical architecture qualification or diploma.

  • You have obtained official accreditation of a higher education qualification awarded outside Spain equivalent to the Spanish qualification enabling entry on the course. The University may accept qualifications from outside Spain that have not obtained official accreditation, after confirming that the level of these studies is equivalent to Spanish degrees and that they allow the degree holder to study postgraduate degrees in the country that awarded the degree.

The documentary requirements are:

  • Diploma holders: authenticated photocopy of diploma / technical engineering qualification certificate (or award letter).

  • Degree holders: authenticated photocopy of degree/engineering studies qualification certificate (or award letter).

  • University studies completed outside Spain: authenticated photocopy of official accreditation certificate from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture or authenticated photocopy of the official university qualification, original certificate of the university indicating that these studies enable access to official postgraduate studies in the country of origin.

    This documentation must be translated by a sworn translator if written in a language other than Catalan or Spanish. If these courses were studied in countries that have signed the Hague Convention, the relevant apostille affixed by the competent authorities will suffice. If these courses were studied in countries that have not signed the Hague Convention, the documentation must be diplomatically legalised by the relevant institutions.
