PSI Re-use
Public administrations produce, gather, store and spread valuable information for the exercise of citizens’ rights and for the provision of content to a wide range of industries. In order to harmonise regulations in EU countries, the European Union passed Directive 2003/98 on public sector information re-use which has just been transposed in Spain in Law 37/2007, of November 16, on Re-use of Public Sector Information.
This 4th Workshop on Public Sector Information on the Internet, organised jointly with the ePSIplus network and with support from Red.es and the Catalan Cartographic Institute, is to analyse the main content of the Spanish Law and describe both the Spanish experience in this field and the various best practices that have been in place for some years now. The speakers involved come from universities, public administration and the PSI industry.
