These rates include:
- Access to the conference
- Reception dinner on Thursday
- Conference materials and
  documentation
- Lunch on Friday and Saturday
- Dinner on Friday
- Airport shuttles and local transfers

These rates do not include:
- Travel and accommodation
- Optional city tours and excursions
  organized by Viajes Iberia
- Anything not otherwise specified

(1) To qualify for the Early Bird rate, the registration fee payment had to be received by 1 October 2009.
(2) Rectors, Presidents, and Chief Executive Officers representing non-ICDE member institutions are welcome. The difference with the regular fee will be reimbursed after acceptance of their institution for ICDE membership within the following six months.
(3) Companions or interpreters for official local activities.

Simultaneous translation is offered to English, Spanish and Catalan during the Opening Plenary, the Keynote Address, the Introduction to the Workshop themes, and the SCOP 2009 Closing Plenary.

Cancellations

• Cancellations received by 1 October 2009 will receive a 50% refund.
• Cancellations received at a later date will not qualify for a refund. However, substitutions may be permitted (the substitute must be of the same category as the original attendee).
