Call for articles and book reviews

UOC Papers is making a call for articles and critical reviews of books for its upcoming issues. The articles have to be originals and focus on the journal's subject areas. The reviews should be of recent works, whether originals or translations, preferably published during 2007 or 2008.

The upcoming issue, number 8, is to include, alongside the usual sections, a dossier with a series of articles and reviews linked to networking and working on the net and the value added by the net. UOC Papers is also making a call for articles on this subject.

The deadline for texts for the upcoming issue (iss. 8) is February 15 2009 (to be published in March 2009), and for the following issue (iss. 9) July 15 2009 (to be published in October 2009).

UOC Papers is indexed in leading national and international directories and databases, including: MIAR, a database to identify and assess the citing of journals in the fields of the humanities and social sciences; DICE, a database for the reach and editorial quality of Spanish legal, humanities and social sciences journals; Latindex, an online regional information system for Latin American, Caribbean, Spanish and Portuguese scientific journals, and Redalyc, a network of Latin American, Caribbean, Spanish and Portuguese scientific journals.
