Virtual reality in our museums: collaborative experiences between Dortoka and the Òliba group

The concept virtual reality is associated to special effects in film or latest generation interactive games, even if these computer creations appear little by little to be gaining more space in our lives. One of the latest incorporations into virtual reality is the world of museums, where this new information technology enables solutions to some of the problems related to teaching and communication that until now directors have had to face. In this article we analyse some of the initial applications based on our own experience.
