CICUS - Clúster Iberoamericano de Cooperación en Salud

The project aims to establish the mechanisms to create the Clúster Iberoamericano de Cooperación Universitaria en Salud (Ibero-American Cluster for Inter-University Collaboration in Health, CICUS), whose mission will be to establish itself as a leading forum that facilitates online cooperation for the generation and sharing of state-of-the-art knowledge in the sphere of Health Sciences and determine how the integration of ICTs can meet the challenges presented by the socio-economic changes of the 21st century. Specifically, it aims to create a stable network of scientific, academic and research cooperation among member universities in order to promote and develop academic, technology, research and innovation programmes in health through the use of ICTs and in accordance with the specific needs of each participating country.

 
CTG - Conciliació de la vida laboral-familiar-personal i teletreball: una anàlisi comparativa entre gèneres

The project focuses on analysing the balance between work, family and personal life and its gender implications, the study of the relationship between said balance and teleworking, and the analysis of gender differences in the use of teleworking and their implications with regard to personal, family and work life.

 
Concilia: Conciliación de la vida laboral y familiar en mujeres que trabajan con tecnologias de la información

The overall aims are to identify the main strategies for balancing work and family life deployed and used by women in the workplace, focusing on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). - It describes the transformations that have taken place in the family environment (timetables, public-private dichotomy, significance attributed to work, to domestic action resources, etc.) as a consequence of the deployment of the aforementioned strategies.

 
CONDEPCIU - Controversias tecnocientíficas y participación ciudadana en torno a las políticas de atención a la dependencia

The aim of this coordinated project is to analyse the ethical, political and socio-cultural effects and implications of the aforementioned technification of policies and the development of care services for dependent persons. To achieve this aim, one the one hand, it will analyse in detail the implementation and operation of a home-help device, and on the other, the associative and organizational movements which, using the Internet as their principal resource, have appeared in force in recent years and given rise to a debate on the unexpected and unforeseen effects of these new health and care devices.
