Additional information on personal data protection

The controller of the data collected in this form is the Fundació per a la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (hereinafter, UOC), with Corporate Tax ID G60667813 and registered address at Rambla del Poblenou, 154-156, Barcelona, Spain. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer by email at the following address: dpd@uoc.edu.

The personal data collected through this form shall be processed in order to manage and process the application, processing and awarding of grants in accordance with the provisions herein. We shall also publish your name and surname on the UOC's E-Services Portal's noticeboard when giving the results of the call for applications.¡

Moreover, if you have authorized us to do so, we shall process your data to send you through any means of communication (including email or equivalent digital communication) messages regarding training programmes, events and other UOC information that may be of interest to you.

When the indicated period has elapsed, the UOC shall block and keep the personal data for the period necessary to comply with any liabilities that may derive from the purposes for which it was collected. Once these liabilities have expired, the personal data shall be permanently deleted.

The legal basis for the personal data processing is the performance of the contract that you subscribe to when accepting the regulatory terms and conditions of the grants.

Also, the consent you have given us, where applicable, to send you commercial communications.

You can in any case withdraw the consent you have granted, at any time, in the manner indicated in the "What are my rights?" section of this document.

The UOC shall process your personal data with absolute confidentiality. Furthermore, it has implemented adequate technical and organizational measures to guarantee their security and prevent their destruction, loss or unlawful access or tampering. In deciding these measures, criteria such as the scope, context and purpose of the processing, the current state of the art and the existing risks have been taken into account.

If necessary, the UOC will disclose the personal data you send us through this form to other third parties in order to comply with any corresponding legal obligations.

Likewise, the data provided may be transferred if this is expressly established in the rules of participation for grants.

The UOC works with a number of service providers that assist it in performing different tasks related with the processing of personal data.

You have the following rights regarding personal data protection:

Without prejudice to exercising your rights before the data controller, you may lodge a complaint before the supervisory authority at any time in defence of your rights, via the website www.aepd.es.


In order to exercise these rights, simply send a message to the UOC via email to the address fuoc_pd@uoc.edu, with the reference "Data protection". The request must include a copy of your Spanish DNI or another equivalent identification document and the minimum content set forth in applicable legislation. If your request does not meet the specified requirements, you may be asked to amend it. There is no charge for exercising these rights, although a fee may be charged when the requests are unfounded, excessive or repetitive.
