Program
The seminar will take a close look at the subject of the cooperative society and economy in the twenty-first century, the contextualisation of the democratic enterprise and the concept and management of the cooperative. The course will take place in conjunction with an exhibition of theoretical information and practical exercises, in which the extensive experience contributed by teacher Xavier Gallofré, a degree holder in History and a diploma holder in Social Graduate Studies from the University of Barcelona, will play a key role. At the end of the session, all participants will receive an Aposta certificate accrediting their attendance on the course.
The aims of the seminar include, in particular, the fact that participants should get to know the defining features of the cooperative model in relation to other types of organisations, that they reflect on the democratic and responsible company model and, above all, that they see the cooperative model as an optimum way to start an entrepreneurial project that will enable them to tackle the challenges of business. The seminar has been especially designed for people taking university studies and who find themselves seeking employment or who want to work as self-employed, or people who want to find out the different ways of working as self-employed, particularly the Cooperative.
