UOC President, Imma Tubella, is to visit Cameroon’s most prestigious university, the University of Yaoundé I, this week to find out first hand about the teaching experience and explore possible collaboration agreements.

During her stay, she is to meet with representatives from the university, both management and researchers, who will present the projects they are preparing or developing, such as the Virtual University. The University of Yaoundé I was founded in 1962 as the Federal University of Cameroon and is the country’s most consolidated university.
One of the UOC’s aims is to strengthen its ties to Africa. The objective is to share experiences and foster collaborative links with university institutions on the African continent through the Campus for Peace and the Global Campus.
